2004 Northwest AIA Design Awards

The American Institute of Architects is a professional membership organization serving Architects in the United States. Members must be registered Architects; Associate Members must be working toward registration. Related professions may join as Allied Members/Professional Affiliates.

NWAIA members and affiliates serve Island, San Juan, Skagit and Whatcom Counties in the northwestern corner of the State of Washington.

The letters "AIA" after an Architect's name mean he or she is a leader in the profession.

Through interaction at the national, state and local levels, Architects who belong to The American Institute of Architects are in touch with the latest innovations to help realize your dreams. Requirements for being a member in the AIA include fulfilling a rigorous continuing education requirement and adhering to a professional code of ethics. If you want an Architect who is serious about his or her profession and in providing you with the very best your money can buy, look for the "AIA."
